Using VPN - Tips!
We have noticed a large amount of people are locking their accounts out when trying to access the VPN in the mornings and after lunch. We believe this is caused by incorrectly entering in your password in the box that prompts you for your MFA code. Here are a couple of tips to ensure you can get logged on straight away without having to contact ICT.
Firstly, make sure your internet says “Connected, Secured” before trying to log on
After entering your password, the following box should appear
Please note the 3 boxes. User Name, Password and BLANK – the BLANK box is where you enter your MFA code.
If your white box looks like this:
STOP – Press Cancel and START AGAIN! Entering your password in here may not work and will most likely cause your account to lock out!
Remember: 3 boxes are good. 2 are bad.
